Digital Art……….Real Art?

1. A discussion point. “Is digital art a valid form of art?”

A definition of art: Art is objects, Drawings, Etchings, Paintings, Sculptures, Stage Designs, Portraits , etc.

What are some of the advantages that digital paint and draw programs offer over the traditional methods (canvas and paint).

The advantages of Digital art is speed, creative control and it's more accurate.
You get things done a lot faster and you learn how to use all different types of tools. You can create anything you want using different types of techniques as such. Your also not wasting your time trying to find where the tools are because they are right on the side of the screen. That is also how you get it done quicker. But Digital art has more speed than painting, paint does have a lot of different tools, and sometimes it is hard to certain adjustments to pictures because some of the tools aren't as good but luckily it has a few different tools that can do similar things.

3. What skills must a digital artist possess to create great digital art?

First of all they need to know all the different tools and techniques in all the different softwares, which is something you would have to learn and study to get used to what they do and how they work.
